This section provides a brief overview of UVM faculty currently working on various refugee-related topics within Vermont, nationally and internationally. The UVM Refugee Research Network Portal showcases a number of these faculty and is meant to give a brief overview of the research, teaching and community-based work carried out by a number of the various members. Each of the faculty provided responses to a series of questions and interviews on their work, their interest in refugee issues, and their background. Everyone interviewed brings a unique perspective and approach to working with refugees or on forced migration issues, highlighting the interdisciplinary nature of understanding and addressing refugee issues. These preliminary profiles are based on interviews conducted over the course of the 2016-17 academic year and we will be adding more profiles as the network continues to grow.
